Hadfield Goes Green!

Hadfield is proud to announce that it has its own full-time Green Initiative.  Jim Hirz - board member - is our green initiatives coordinator.  Since its inception - the program has sponsored an electrical / appliance recycle drive and adopted the stretch of Old Mountain Park Road from the Hadfield perimeter to the Fulton / Cobb County line.  This stretch of road is neat and tidy thanks to Jim and his team of neighborhood volunteers!

Interested in serving your neighborhood?

There are many ways for you to contribute to the Hadfield experience.  You may join the board or simply volunteer to take an active role on one of many committees.  Committee participation allows you to target a specific area you wish to support (or you have a passion for) without giving up too much of your free time.  The board is currently looking for willing individuals that have a skill to offer in the area of....

Landscaping - working with our landscape service provider to recommend plantings, overseeing basic maintenance and crafting ideas on keeping Hadfield beautiful.  You can keep your hands clean while others do the work!

Social - planning, organizing or hosting various events thoughout the year.  Whether it be for the Halloween Festival, the Easter Egg Hunt, Pool Parties, Outdoor Movies or Wine Tastings...your event planning skills will be welcomed.

Architectural Control - overseeing the Association covenants and ensuring that homeowners have the information they need as they plan to make improvements to their home.  If you have an eye for color, shape or form - you can support the AC Committee in reviewing plans and request.

Web Site / Newsletter - managing the outbound communication for the Association.  Good with a computer, have a way with words?  Assist in providing updates to the web site and producing the quarterly newsletter...you will be the most informed person in the neighborhood!
